These terms govern your use of Nice Forms, including the website, the survey builder, public surveys, and the API. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
1. The service
Nice Forms lets you create surveys, collect responses, invite teammates, share surveys by link, QR code or join code, and optionally upgrade to Pro. We provide the platform; you are responsible for your surveys and how you use the answers.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- Workspace owners may invite teammates. Owners are responsible for people they invite.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that put the service or other users at risk.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use Nice Forms to:
- Collect data unlawfully or without a legal basis, including hidden tracking of respondents.
- Harass, defraud, or impersonate others.
- Distribute malware, spam, or content that is illegal in the country you target.
- Probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or access another workspace without permission.
- Resell the service or scrape it to build a competing product, except through the documented API within its limits.
4. Your content
You keep the rights to surveys, questions, images, and answers you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, back up, and process that content solely to provide Nice Forms, including optional AI features you choose to run.
You confirm that you have the rights to upload images and to collect the answers you ask for. You are the controller of respondent data; we process it on your behalf.
5. Plans and payment
Basic is free and includes up to 50 responses per survey and a limited set of question types. Pro unlocks unlimited responses, all question types, AI features, a custom survey logo, and the option to hide branding. Current prices are shown on the pricing page.
Paid plans are billed by Stripe. You can switch or cancel at any time in the billing portal. Access to Pro features continues until the end of the paid period, then the workspace returns to Basic. Surveys remain in your account. Fees already paid for a started billing period are non-refundable except where consumer law requires otherwise — see the withdrawal policy.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Nice Forms available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features, limits, or these terms. If a change is material, we will update this page. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance, unless applicable law requires your explicit consent.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to typical, foreseeable damage.
We are not liable for the content of your surveys, for decisions you make based on answers, or for third-party services that fail outside our control. The service is provided as a tool; you remain responsible for compliance in your own organisation.
8. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is the provider’s seat.
